Like any proper amateur earth scientist, I have a mineral collection. As I sort through it and catalogue my rocks, I’ll update my mineral collection page. On the off chance that anyone is interested in this, information will be updated as I have time.
I am alive. Something will happen sooner or later. I am writing. I updates the About page. Have been reading more recently. Will write sometime. That is all.
Within the next few weeks a lot should be happening in Canadian politics. Analysis will follow where required. Obama is up to become president quite soon, no analysis required. There is war in the middle east, not entirely unique on its own but fascinating none the less.
Closer to home, writers block beaten. Over the break I commenced writing my own pen and paper role playing game, using the Prose Descriptive Quality system by Atomic Sock Monkey. It is based on the world of William Hope Hodgeson’s The Night Land, which is one of my favourite works of fiction. When that is completed, it shall be shared. The full text of the story is available from Project Gutenberg.
That is really all for now. More to follow as it comes up.
I’ve added a section for reviews of culturally important materials. Of course, its empty right now. When I have the time I will digitise some of my older works and post them here, when I lose this writers block I’ll actually get to writing new stuff. Hopefully I’ll have the time and inspiration to do it tomorrow, but I’m going to be realistic and promise nothing, since that way I can’t lie.
Nothing else new, really. Still snowing here, which is wonderous. When I remember to charge my camera I’ll even share pictures.
Started work on a collaborative screenplay with some friends of mine recently. Details will be published as they are developed. Writing for this site has been thoroughly writer’s blocked though. Hopefully soon, but no promises.
So I’ve been customising things, editing other things, and over all just trying to figure out how to use this software efficiently. Of course, since I am an avid procrastinator, I’ve been reading the news as well. I found this story to be interesting. Take that Holocaust deniers.
The site is alive, not quite as undead as it once was. Which is nice. Over the next while stuff shall be added as I see fit. The idea of this place is for my writings, which I would like to do more of again, since I stopped a few years ago. We shall see how this goes.
